Rockport launches Mall of Asia branch
Rockport has always been a constant companion through the years of upstanding individuals who are always on the go and getting things done - and on their 52nd year, Rockport opens their Mall of Asia branch for all of us!
Among the attendees were Brand Executive Ms. Yza Yuloque, AVP of Primer International Management Ltd. Ms. Melody Tanjimenez, Regional Brand Manager Mr. Aaron Orijuela, Regional Merchandising Head for APAC Ms. Evon Tan, Regional Director for APAC Mr. Ralf Schuering, key influencers and special guests Mr. Jazper Tiongson who is a fitness enthusiast, storyteller, songwriter and professional host, and radio DJ / professional host Ms. Alex Sy, with the President of Rockport himself Mr. Steve Holt, and Host Mike Acuña hosting the launch.
Mr. Holt delivered a charismatic, charming and gracious message in welcoming everybody to the store and filling everyone in on what to expect once they enter. Ms. Yuloque set us up very nicely on what to expect from our current and future offerings, and welcomed attendees to look around and check out the store.
Mr. Tiongzon and Ms. Sy shared their thoughts and insights during the interview segment with Mr. Acuña as to how they got started in their careers, what keeps them going, and what goals they are fixating on - what powers them to keep moving forward. Towards the end of the launch, Polaroid cameras were provided to take our guests’ OOTDs and were asked to write their answers at the back of the film to the question: “what powers you?”
The whole store's expression speaks of quiet elegance, sophistication and class, with lifestyle products neatly displayed on the walls showing a variety of pairs to choose from, with store personnel ready and able to help you pick among the pairs you fancy.

This year we aim to expand to more channels to offer a wider range of styles and designs that cater to both men and women, helping them get through their work days, vacations, and even daily errands in style: casual sandals for men like the Darron Slide with a contoured footbed, also coming in a variant that has a buckle for a more refined yet casual look, or the reliable Classic Loafer Penny which always keeps your feet dry - and lastly for men, the Garett Wingtip dress shoes giving you a little more style and bounce to your step with TRUTech and EVA outsole for durability.
There’s a wide array of new collections for ladies’ casuals such as the Aubriella Three Piece with soft linings and cool color choices, the Yara Buckle Slides which has a gold buckle (designed in-house by one of Rockport’s designers), and the Briah II Slide (which is a wedge that provides a “slipper-like” feel) comes in sleek and classy black. For a more classy and formal look, the polished TM Gracie Sling is a nude number from the work-ready collection with TRUTech Lightweight Shock Absorption, and let the sophisticated yet practical everyday dress pair TM 75 take you from work to a night out all the while giving you stability and a glove-like fit.
The "powering motion" campaign introduces their comfort technologies, keeping design, comfort and quality at the forefront - something Rockport has always been known for. The brand will also be expanding their "casuals" line, with new arrivals apart from the dress shoes (the SS23 line is definitely something to check out!). Along with the SS23 collection, Rockport is offering more wedges and sandals with the same superior comfort you would expect from any Rockport pair you get.
